Al Gesite, PT, MS, COMT, STC, FDNS

Al has been an Orthopedic Physiotherapist/ Physical Therapist for over 2 decades. He is the owner of PhysioEdge Physical Therapy. He received his Undergraduate studies in Bachelors of Business Administration from Georgia State University and continued to received both Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic State University. His advance training and extensive continuing education courses taken nationally and internationally are in Manual/Manipulative Therapy, Sportsmedicine, and Movement Science. He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative/Manual Therapy from Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia and a Sports Physical Therapy Certification from both North American SportsMedicine Institute and University of St. Augustine. He is also a Functional Dry Needling Specialist and a Functional Fascia Therapeutics Provider (FFTp). He also works extensively with Team USA weightlifters. Aside from being committed in life long learning for our industry and treating patients locally, he serves as an Instructor/Faculty for the Functional Dry Needling and Functional Therapeutic Application Courses for Kinetacore/Evidence in Motion in United States and Canada.  He is also a Certified First Responder. He is a credentialed APTA Clinical Instructor and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), both the Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Section, the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia(PTAG) and also with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (AAOMPT).  He currently lives in Woodstock with his wife Carly and two daughters, Kamilla and Natalia.  Please feel free to contact him at agesite@physioedge.net.

Debbie Flanagan, PTA, Certified Pilates Instructor

Debbie is a Certified Pilates instructor and a Physical Therapy Assistant with over 20 years of experience in Fitness and Rehabilitation industries. She utilizes the Pilates Method to help resore mobility, strength and flexibility in her clients.  She has a BS in Marketing and Business Administration through East Carolina University and an Associate's in Allied Health in Physical Therapy.  She holds several certifications and takes continuing education through Balance Body and Polestar Pilates.  Debbie has also created and taught Anatomy and Kinesiology to Pilates instrutors.  She holds a certifcation in Progressing Ballet Technique and has taken continuing education through NYU Harkness Dance Center. She has developed and currently teaches a dance conditioning program at Georgia Dance Conservatory.  She is also cerfified in Cancer Rehabilitation.  Debbie has trained with Team in Training and finished the Marine Corp Marathon.  She has also finished several half marathons and enjoys cardio barre classes and hiking.  She is a member of the International Dance Medicine (IADMS), American  Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Physical Therapy Assocation of Georgia (PTAG)

Zachary Dunkle, PT, DPT, OCS, CPPS

Zac is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, who took a unique path to becoming a physical therapist. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Zac served as a Scout Sniper and Reconnaissance Marine. After leaving the Marine Corps, he attended the Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at Penn State, Zac assisted lead researchers in the Neuromotion laboratory investigating gait changes following ACL ruptures. After graduating from Emory University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, he completed an orthopedic residency through Emory University. In addition to being an orthopedic physical therapist, he is a Certified Physical Preparation Specialist who uses unconventional training methods to enhance athletic performance. Along with being a practicing physical therapist, Zac currently teaches within both the Doctor of Physical Therapy and orthopedic residency programs at Emory University. Professionally, Zac is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the GA Physical Therapy Association. Zac currently resides in Sandy Springs with his wife, Erin and two boys, Axel and Ivan.

Renee Doddington, DPT, COMT,CertDN, CNPT

Renee initially chose to pursue a career in physical therapy while in high school afer witnessing the life-changing impact PTs had on a close friend who nearly lost his life in a car accident.  This experience combined with her back ground in and passion for dance/ballet, made a career in restoring painfree, proper and efficient physical movement the perfect choice.  She attended the University of Florida where she graduated with honors with her Bachelors degree in Health Science in 2004 and then continued her education at UF, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007.  

Following Graduation, Renee relocated to Atlanta to begin her PT career where she has gained extensive clinical experience over the past 18 years in a variety of out patient orthopedic/sports medicine clinical settings. She has treated patients of all ages/skill with experience in treating athletes of all levels, from "weekend warriors" to athletes trying to return to/maintain their professional status.  Renee has a strong interest in manual therapy and takes a very hands on approach to treating her patients.  She has earned the distinction of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).  She is certified in Trigger Pint Dry Needling and Nutritional Physical Therapy.  Her love of being a lifelong learner has compelled her to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education throughout her career in order to stay up to date on the latest treatment techniques, research and best practice.  She is a member of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and sections in Orthopedic and Sports Section as well as the Performing Arts Special Interest Group. She is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedica Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). When she is not working, Renee enjoys staying active, cycling, traveling, playing with her silly puppy Bruder, cheering on her beloved Gators, and is an avid advocate for raising awareness and research funds for the Alzheimer's Association. 

Renee currently works at our location onsite with the Atlanta Ballet Company Dancers.

Regina Valle

Sherry Greene

Sherry performs insurance and patient billing functions and has been with PhysioEdge since May 2009. She is the owner of Atlanta Medical Solutions billing company established in 1993. She has 19 years of billing/coding experience specializing in Physical Therapy and  Workers’ Compensation and is certified in computer programming.

Sherry is married to Don and has 2 children, Emily and Kara. She enjoys following college football (Bama), exercising, gardening and spending time with family.
